On the last day of December, Engram Gallery, in Katowice Miasto Ogrodów, will host the opening of an exhibition entitled AFTER MIDNIGHT, where 21 artists will present their negatives. They will be displayed in illuminated boxes, in the black space of the gallery. The premise of the exhibition is to show the first stage of the photographic record, which “for the world” is usually already presented in a processed, subsequent form. / Nie musisz rozumieć / Niewiedza i brak zrozumienia zjawisk to coś do czego nie chcemy się przyznawać. Instynktownie czujemy, że społeczeństwo wymaga od nas rozumienia. Brak wiedzy, to brak pewności siebie, brak wiedzy to niepewność jutra, brak wiedzy to brak autorytetu, a więc i niższa pozycja społeczna. Nie chcemy nie wiedzieć, nie rozumieć.
