FOTOPERYFERIE Festiwal Fotograficzny 2024 w BWA Kielce

My triptych of collages in cyanotype will be on exhibit as part of the Fotoperferie Photo Festival.

“Review of photography in old and alternative techniques” is held at the Lower Gallery of the BWA in Kielce for the third time within the framework of the FOTOPERYFERIE Photo Festival, of which it is an essential part. This relevance lies in the fulfillment of the formula of this new Kielce Festival, which, by design, penetrates and presents the “fringes – peripheries” of the broad current of artistic photography. It is there that artistic creations created both in old and alternative techniques and those – from the category of contemporary art – in which photography plays the role of one of the essential means of expression are located.
The “Review of Photography in Old and Alternative Techniques” itself – with partial modifications – is held according to the rules established by the creators of its concept: Janusz Drobisz and Damian Gaszczyk, who previously implemented it in the Silesian galleries of Katowice, Zabrze and Bytom.

Mój tryptyk kolaży w cyjanotypii będzie prezentowany w ramach Festiwalu Fotograficznego Fotoperferie.
„Przegląd fotografii w technikach dawnych i alternatywnych” odbywa się w Galerii Dolnej BWA w Kielcach już po raz trzeci w ramach Festiwalu Fotograficznego FOTOPERYFERIE, którego jest istotną częścią. Ta istotność polega na wypełnianiu formuły tego nowego kieleckiego Festiwalu, który z założenia penetruje i przedstawia „obrzeża – peryferie” szerokiego nurtu fotografii artystycznej. To tam właśnie sytuują się kreacje artystyczne tworzone zarówno w technikach dawnych i alternatywnych, jak i te – z kategorii sztuki współczesnej – w których fotografia pełni rolę jednego z istotnych środków wyrazu.
Sam „Przegląd fotografii w technikach dawnych i alternatywnych” – z częściowymi modyfikacjami – odbywa się według zasad ustalonych przez twórców jego koncepcji: Janusza Drobisza i Damiana Gaszczyka, którzy uprzednio realizowali go w śląskich galeriach Katowic, Zabrza i Bytomia.

Silence of the Heart in BWA Kielce

On March 25, 2022 at 6 p.m., will take place the opening of my exhibition Silence of the Heart at the BWA Kielce Gallery as part of the 1st Photo Festival FOTOPERYFERIE. The festival is organized by the Kielce Landscape School Foundation and the Art Exhibition Office in Kielce. Curator of the Festival: Stanisława Zacharko-Łagowska.
